Crisp, quality TV

I've been putting the Hisense 65" U6G Quantum TV through its paces for a couple of weeks now. The TV itself is crazy light for the size, and was easy enough to move around with a second person.
The remote is a normal sized remote, and has buttons for the major streaming apps (Netflix, YouTube, etc.). It also has a "Fav" button that can be programmed to the app of your choice. The flow and design of the remote is super intuitive.
The TV itself boots up very fast, and the menu system flows nicely. It is very easy to pin apps to your main screen, find other installed apps, and install new ones from the store. Apps load as fast as I'd expect them to, and once loaded are nimble and fast while paging through. For example - I've yet to feel any delay in the menus on Netflix or Amazon, something I've run in to with other streaming systems/devices. The voice search aspect of the system and tie in with the remote is very useful, particularly for Youtube. It's wonderful for my kids who struggle with spelling what they want to search for - it allows them to find what they want quickly and easily!
This is my first 4k TV, and I'm in awe of the picture. This TV is vibrant - the colors really pop. When it's bright, it is BRIGHT. The darks are truly dark. The overall contrast and variation is wonderful, and helps bring scenes alive. One issue I've had - in dark scenes (I've posted a picture), I get an area shaped like a bean in the middle of the screen where the backlight doesn't dim as much as the surrounding area - basically a large lima bean bright spot on the screen. It happens on menus, and on all apps. I filed a warranty claim with Hisense for it. After I proved ownership and the problem with the screen (via pictures emailed to them), they escalated my claim to a Level 2. I just received a call back with a fix! They had me rub the area with a microfiber cloth, and it worked!
Sound - with my prior TV, I had a reasonably expensive sound bar by the TV. With this Hisense TV, I have yet to hook it up. I haven't felt the need. This thing is LOUD if you want it to, and the sound feels full. We've watched movies, TV shows, and Youtube and I haven't felt anything lacking that me want to go back to the sound bar.
All in all I am thrilled with this TV, as well as Hisense support!
