Historically, I haven't been a big fan of body lotions, because they have been oily/greasy, or the scent has been overbearing. I decided to try out Harry's Dry Skin Relief (Fig)
, and I am happy I did. I'm very satisfied with this product, and will likely buy more once this runs out. The lotion goes on smoothly, and is quickly absorbed without leaving behind a greasy feel . The only option I had at the store was the Fig scented lotion, but it also comes in Redwood and Stone. It smells "warm" with notes of cardamom and blood orange. Hours after applying, I can still somewhat smell it on my arms, and even my wife said she likes the scent. My skin feels softer and, with products like Harry's,
I think Im going to add moisturizing to my skincare routine. I would like to try one of the other scents next time, because the fig one doesn't compliment any of my other personal care items (deodorant, cologne, etc....not really a "spice" guy).
One thing that can be improved is the bottle material quality. My lotion came with a chipped cap, and after using it a few times, the little plug that's on the cap broke off and I can't use the lotion now without unscrewing the cap (see pics). Maybe mine was just a fluke, but if others are having this issue, then it may need to be addressed.
Disclaimer: I received this product for a discount in exchange for my honest opinion. However, that was not considered in my review of the product, and the thoughts shared above are my own.
