Barilla® Chickpea Rotini

I love pasta. I had never tried any other type of pasta that wasn't made from wheat flour. So when I was given the opportunity to try out Barilla Chickpea Rotini, I was very interested. I decided to make Barilla Chickpea Rotini with Broccoli, Roasted Red Peppers and Thyme. I followed the instructions which were fairly simple to follow and the recipe came out great! My spouse and I really enjoyed it. We couldn't even tell that the rotini was made with chickpeas as this pasta has a great texture and taste that we enjoyed. To cook the rotini itself was simple. Since I like my pasta on the soft side, the two extra minutes made the pasta perfect for me. I love how this pasta is just made with chickpea flour and nothing else. I really like that this pasta has 8g of fiber and 11g of protein. I think this is a great option for those who need to stay away from gluten as this is certified gluten free. I look forward to making more meals with Barilla Chickpea Rotini in the future.
