Chickpea spaghetti alfredo…

I used the chickpea spaghetti and made some shrimp alfredo. I like the taste of both this and the red lentil spaghetti and both, while better for me, have no noticeable taste difference than traditional pasta. To me, is has the slight smell and a hint of bacon, I don't know why. When I cook it, it smells to me like a hint of bacon. Oh well, it smells good. Both the shrimp alfredo and red lentil spaghetti I made both turned out good, just as good as if I used normal pasta, but this was better for me and has way more protein. My only issue with it, and it's a personal preference, is that it seems to maintain a slightly more firm texture, even if you cook it longer. I like mine less al dente and this stays firm. Otherwise, everything else is great.
